Last Saturday, I got to play tourist for the day and visit the Newseum in DC.
We got there early before lines picked up. We spent about two hours there but we definitely could have stayed for much longer! There was so much to see (and read, of course). They do a great job of focusing on the reporting of news… not the events. Interesting perspective.
C was sneaky and got two passes from Groupon. It’s normally pretty expensive (considering Smithsonians are freee!). The passes last for two days, so you can double dip if you really enjoy it.
The terrace has beautiful views of the Capitol and along Pennsylvania Ave.
